NEW DEMOREELS AND UPDATED SITE!!!!!! Hooray!

8.30.09
I'm in LA now, and it's been too long for an update. I'm curerntly working at Rhythm and Hues Studios as a Technical
Animator. Unfortunatly, my contract will be ending at the end of October, But I'm not worried. LA is a big place
with lots to do and see. I must say that Rhythm is a great place to work. They treat their artists very well.
Actually its been one of the best work expreiences I have ever had. I am going to miss this place after Oct.

I've started as the Creature Rigging Forum Moderator at www.strutyourreel.com. I've also finnished rigging
a character for the contest part of the site. It was one of the most complex rigs I have ever made. It has real
time squash and stretch capabilities, along with all the standards (IF/FK blending, and the ability to "break"
the controls at any time- to name a couple). I hope the community enjoys using it as much as I did rigging it.

I'd also like to give a special thanks to our testers, with out whome the rig would have sucked.
cheers,
andy

Having Finished up work at Awe Games, I am now ready to move on to more challenging projects. I had a great
time at Awe, and learned a ton. I worked with some super talented artists, who showed me there is more to 3d than
meets the eye. Since my first day at that studio, I was constantly drilled about how important it is to become a well
rounded artist. In order to get proficient at anything, one must have a strong foundation to build upon. This was just
one of the many lessons I learned. I'd like to thank James Wheeler, President of Awe Games, and all of the great crew at Awe,
for giving me the opportunity to learn so much.
Thanks,
Andy
